TurningPoint Senior Leadership 

“The Oversight” 

Pastors Phil and Norma Cayzer 

Together, Pastors Phil Cayzer (senior Minister) and Norma Cayzer (Associate Minister) oversee the TurningPoint Family Church. 

Pastor Phil governs and administrates the affairs of the church, including the “TurningPoint Building Project” and “Lighthouse Christian College Cranbourne” serving as Chairperson on the Board of Directors. Pastor Phil is also responsible for all the “Growth Groups” at Cranbourne. 

Pastor Norma is a qualified Christian Counsellor who heads up the TurningPoint Support Centre, Cranbourne School of Ministry and the C.O.M.E Missions team. Pastor Norma administrates all the pastoral care at TurningPoint. 

Both Pastors Phil and Norma are credentialed and ordained Ministers with CRC Churches International. 

Pastor Julie and Greg joined the senior leadership team following the amalgamation in 1996 (see TurningPoint History). 

Pastor Julie (Associate Pastor) is a credentialed, ordained Minister with CRC Churches International in Australia. Pastor Julie heads up our outreach church in Lyndhurst District and is responsible for their “Connect Groups”. 

Greg is an elder at TurningPoint and a member of the C.O.M.E. Missiones team, Greg also serves on the Finance Committee and is the Public Officer of TurningPoint Family Church Inc. and Secretary to the Church Board (the Oversight). 

Darren and Pam are both Elders at TurningPoint and have been a part of the church here since November 1993. 

Darren heads up the Men’s Ministry called “eMpower” and oversees a number of Growth Groups. 

Pam is currently the TurningPoint Treasurer and serves on the Finance Committee. Pam also oversees the Young Adults Ministry and the TurningPoint Creative Arts Team. 

In 2007 Melody Cayzer and Kara Bell were invited to join the Oversight of TurningPoint Family Church. Despite their youth both Melody and Kara have many years experience of ministry and service within TurningPoint, particularly with young people. Their addition to the Oversight of TurningPoint has enhanced our ability to reach and minister to the younger generation with their input into STRIPES (primary aged children’s program), SPLAT (secondary ares youth program), music and especially our Sunday night services. In 2010 Kara and Melody were accepted as Trainee Pastors at TurningPoint.
