Cert IV in Christian Ministry and Theology: Placement
Enrollment: The placement will be conditional on completion of TurningPoint Principles, acceptance of the individual by the Oversight, ability to work with other TurningPoint Staff, acceptance by the trainee commission and regular successful completion of the Certificate IV work requirements.
Cost: $895.00 refundable upon successful completion of the Certificate IV
Location: TurningPoint Church and other locations as required.
Currently run: New intakes will be taken each February.
TurningPoint Certificate IV in Christian Ministry Placement, is designed to create an opportunity for people who believe they have a call to Christian ministry. The placement will consist of 2 days of employment with the TurningPoint Family Church on minimum trainee wages. In addition there will be 1 extra day arranged for areas of ministry within TurningPoint church.
The outcome of the TurningPoint Certificate IV in Christian Ministry Placement would be to complete a Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology in 12 months (normally completed over 2 years) and the possible advancement to the TurningPoint Diploma in Christian Ministry Placement.
Typical weekly program:
1 day Administration training
1 day Christian service
1 day Ministry training
One Year ministry program:
To be involved in 4 separate ministry areas within TurningPoint church.
Complete a mission’s trip
Complete the Bible School (Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology)
